View it in your browser.    Boquete Jazz & Blues Festival                 Feb 12 - 15, 2015    BJBF Newsletter March/April 2014 The 2014 Boquete Jazz&Blues Festival is history, and WOW! It was the best and most successful music festival ever in the highlands of Panama! Smiling faces, beautiful places, people dancing and having great fun all over town! You need to see it to believe it! Please check out the photo and video galleries on our website: http://www.boquetejazzandbluesfestival.com/photos--videos.html With more visitors every year the festival is developing into a touristic magnet for the beautiful highlands of the Chiriqui province of Panama. It's a win-win situation: A beautiful tropical environment with rainforest covered mountains at a short distance between two oceans with endless beaches and lots of small islands to explore...there's so much to see and do in addition to a great Jazz&Blues festival! As always, we started the festival with a BANG! Boquete goes New Orleans! This is the only New Orleans style parade in Panama, and in 2015 it'll take place at the height of carnival season! Check out the artists of our 2014 line-up on the right.   We're already working on another great line-up for the 9th edition of our festival on February 12 - 15, 2015. Stay tuned for the announcement in Sept./Oct. this year!                   The BJBF Fedora Club which we inaugurated this year was a great success! 117 members signed up and helped us greatly to finance the festival! For inquiries about the club please go to the Fedora club page on our website. Memberships for 2015 may again be purchased online later this year through our website.   Looking for a place to stay in Boquete? Several of our fine Boquete hotels will be offering special festival packages again. Please go to the lodging page of our website for more details. Good advice: Book your hotel early! There's only limited hotel capacity in Boquete. ...meanwhile, here's what you can do to make the festival even more successful: - Help us spread the word by telling your friends and acquaintances via email and on the social media. - Ask your friends to sign up to this newsletter. - Show us some love and "Like" our facebook page, and ask your friends to do so, too. - Join our facebook group and invite your friends and email contacts to join, too.
