[News Boquete] Message for U.S. Citizens: Social Security Registration Update

Beginning October 1, 2013, applicants will need to apply on line for a number of Social Security benefits, including retirement benefits, spouse benefits, disability benefits and Medicare.  The Social Security Regional Office will no longer accept paper applications. Applicants will still be required to bring the original supporting documents to the Federal Benefits Unit of the U.S. Embassy’s Consular Section to complete the process.
